Below is our transparent and family-centered approach to returns, exchanges, and lifelong care—crafted not as a cold legal contract, but as a promise from our family to yours.

Every Pug puppy leaves our home with:
- Comprehensive genetic health testing of both parents, including OFA evaluations for hips and patellas, plus BOAS screening to ensure clear breathing
- Early neurological stimulation and daily socialization from birth, surrounded by family life
- Full veterinary wellness checks, age-appropriate vaccines, multiple dewormings, and microchipping
- Gentle temperament observation to help match your lifestyle—whether you seek an active playmate or a calm lap warmer
This level of care reflects our devotion—not simply to breeding, but to ensuring every Pug thrives in their forever home.
⏳ The 48-Hour Grace Period: A Thoughtful Pause
We understand that meeting your Pug in person can reveal new insights. That is why we offer a 48-hour window from the moment your puppy arrives in your care to request a return or exchange—only in cases of genuine incompatibility, such as:
- Newly discovered severe allergies in a household member
- Unexpected housing restrictions (sudden policy changes by landlord or HOA)
- Significant temperament mismatches not evident in prior video updates
- Unforeseen family emergencies that make puppy care impossible
This is not a “trial period.” Puppies are living beings, not products—and we ask that this window be used with sincerity and care. A Pug’s bond with their family forms quickly, and we owe it to them to make thoughtful decisions.
🔄 Your Options Within 48 Hours
If you contact us within this window, we offer two respectful pathways:
1. One-Time Puppy Exchange If another Pug in our current or upcoming litter better suits your home—in energy level, temperament, or even coat color—we gladly facilitate a one-time exchange, subject to availability and breeder approval.
- Only one exchange per family
- The original puppy must be returned in healthy, unchanged condition (no injuries, illnesses, or behavioral issues developed in your care)
- Travel coordination is handled with care and compassion; we help arrange safe transport
2. Partial Refund (Case-by-Case) If an exchange is not possible, we may offer a partial refund (typically 50–75%), provided:
- You share complete care logs and veterinary records from the time in your home
- The puppy is returned safely and promptly, in good health
- Circumstances are reviewed jointly by our family and veterinary advisor
Please note: No refunds or exchanges are available after 48 hours. Once your Pug bonds with you, rehoming can cause emotional stress—and we prioritize their emotional well-being above all.
🚫 What Is Not Covered
We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Normal Pug behaviors—snorting, snoring, shedding, stubbornness, following you everywhere, occasional house training accidents, or that determined pug stare when treats are involved
- Changes of heart due to unmet expectations or lifestyle adjustments you had not considered
- Financial hardship unrelated to true emergencies (we offer payment plans upfront to help avoid this)
- Requests made after the 48-hour window—after that, our Forever Home Promise takes over
We encourage all families to prepare thoroughly by researching the breed, puppy-proofing their home, and asking us every question that comes to mind. We are here to help you succeed.

If you believe a return or exchange may be necessary:
- Contact us within 48 hours via email, text, or phone—do not wait
- Share your situation honestly—we listen without judgment and want to understand
- Provide photos, vet notes, or videos if relevant to the concern
- We arrange safe, stress-free return transport (we cover return travel costs when needed)
We aim to respond within 2 hours during business hours and within 12 hours on weekends. Your peace of mind matters.

- We take your Pug back into our care at no cost to you, no matter their age
- We place them in a loving, vetted forever home—someone who understands the breed and will cherish their wrinkled face and curly tail
- You receive updates if you wish, because peace of mind matters even years later
