Our Pug Puppy Health Guarantee
Raised With Patience. Backed With Integrity. Loved For Life. 🐾
When you bring home a Pug puppy from us, you are not just getting a dog—you are gaining a charming companion with a wrinkled face and a heart made for family. We have raised these adorable sweethearts in our own home, surrounded by laughter, children, and the gentle chaos of everyday life.
Because we pour everything into these pups, we stand behind every single one. Our 1-Year Hereditary Health Assurance is not fine print—it is our word. It means your puppy’s foundation is built on honest breeding, preventive care, and a promise we intend to keep.
🧬 What We Cover
If a licensed veterinarian in the U.S. diagnoses your Pug with any of the following genetic or congenital conditions within the first 365 days, you have three options:
- A replacement puppy from a future litter (equal or lesser value)
- A partial or full refund of your purchase price
- Direct payment to your vet for covered diagnostics or treatment (up to the purchase amount)
Covered hereditary conditions include:
- Hip Dysplasia (verified by OFA or PennHIP evaluation)
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), including DNA‑confirmed forms
- Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE) —a breed-specific condition we screen for via parental history
- Patellar Luxation (Grade 3 or 4, confirmed by orthopedic specialist)
- Congenital Cardiac Defects (e.g., PDA, SAS—diagnosed by boarded cardiologist)
- Severe Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) (congenital structural issues confirmed by specialist)
- Epilepsy (early onset, before 12 months, confirmed by neurologist)
🩺 How We Prepare Every Pup
Long before your Pug sniffs their new home, they receive head‑to‑tail care:
- Wellness exams at 6 and 8 weeks by our trusted veterinarian
- Fecal tests and deworming at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks
- Age‑appropriate vaccines (DHPP, given on a safe schedule)
- Microchip with lifetime national registration
- Health clearances on both parents (OFA/Embark DNA testing)—no carrier‑to‑carrier breedings
- Complete health records shared with you before pickup
Puppies are raised in our living room, not a kennel. They hear vacuums, doorbells, and kids playing. We introduce crate games, gentle handling, and even wrinkle care routines to build confidence. They leave here curious, confident, and ready to bond.
📝 To Honor This Guarantee
We ask a few things—not to complicate, but to protect your pup’s health:
- Vet check within 72 hours of arrival. This is required. Without it, the guarantee is void.
- Provide all medical records, including diagnostics, if a condition arises
- Show proof of consistent preventive care (vaccines, deworming, annual exams)
- Notify us within 14 days of any diagnosis
Early detection saves lives. We simply ask that you stay on top of care—the same way we did.
🚫 What’s Not Covered
Our responsibility is to genetic health, not accidents or environment. Exclusions include:
- Parasites (fleas, ticks, giardia, coccidia) acquired after leaving us
- Injuries from falls, rough play, or household accidents
- Allergies, skin conditions, or ear infections (often environmental)
- Cherry eye, umbilical hernias, or undescended testicles
- Behavioral issues (snorting, stubbornness, separation anxiety)—though we offer lifetime training advice
- Conditions caused by neglect, poor diet, or lack of vet care
Pugs are sturdy, but they are also living beings—their health depends on both good genes and daily love.
❤️ Our Lifelong Commitment to You
Our support does not end at one year. Once you are family, you are always family:
- First 30 days: Direct breeder support by text or call, anytime
- Lifetime guidance: Questions about training, health, or that stubborn Pug streak? We are here.
- Forever Home Promise: If life changes and you cannot keep your Pug—regardless of age, for any reason—we will take them back and lovingly rehome them. No fees. No judgment.
They are, and always will be, part of our pack.
📞 How to File a Claim
If a covered condition appears:
- Contact us immediately—we are here to help, not to hide behind paperwork.
- Email complete vet records (including radiologist or cardiologist reports) to our health team.
- We will review with a veterinary advisor and respond within 10 business days.
Together, we will choose the best path—replacement, refund, or direct vet support.
Every claim is handled with compassion and honesty. That is the only way we know.
Why This Matters
A lot of “health guarantees” are full of escape hatches. Ours is simply this: we raise these Pug pups in our home, we watch them wobble and play, and we send them to you with hope in our hearts. This guarantee reflects that hope—not as a contract, but as a vow.
Your Pug is healthy by design, raised with patience, and protected by promise.
